North to Alaska

I am leaving for Alaska on June 4th. I plan to take the laptop and maybe get some work done on my new novel. It is another mystery set in Cossack County, Iowa, but with different characters. It also has a little different twist, so far. The story always seems to change as I write it. Try to keep things calm while I’m gone. I’ll blog some more when I get back, if I don’t get eaten by a grizzly bear.

About thewritingdeputy

Joel Jurrens was a deputy sheriff for 26 years until he retired in 2013. He has published three novels: In The Sticks, Graves of His Personal Liking and County Ops: The Vengeance of Gable Fitzgerald. He tries to keep his blog light and humorous and sometimes downright silly.
